THRELKELD PUBLIC ROOM

The Public Room or Village Hall was built in 1901 and has since been expanded.It is in the middle of the village.

There are two meeting rooms

The Main Hall 48ft 6in x 24ft 8in(14.780 x 7.520) marked out for badminton (though the markings need refreshing just now) with a small stage 3ft deep (0.910) at the east end. It is capable of seating over 100 for a meal and considerably more for a public meeting. 100 chairs and 10 tables are available. The Main Hall is also available for camping and some mattresses can be provided.

The Small Room (or Billiards Room - as it used to be called) 17ft 6in x 16ft 6in?? (5.330 x 5.030) has ample space for a meeting of 24 people.

There are a kitchen and toilets and ample car parking behind the building.
