Threlkeld has two Business to Business disticts:

• The Old Mines at the east end of the village (enter Threlkeld by the eastern entrance off A66 and turn right immediately)
• The Blencathra Business Centre at the east end of the Quarry Village (Leave A66 southwards for St John's in the Vale B5322 and take second left and keep going)

There are many firms (from one-man up) who can Supply Goods and Services to the community.
