"The Musical Stonemason - a Cumbrian Wayang"
First performed last year at Keswick Museum and then at the South Bank in London, this theatrical performance tells the story of Keswick Museum's famous Musical Stones of Skiddaw made by the Keswick stonemason Joseph Richardson in the early 19th century.
Inspired by Wayang, an ancient Indonesian dramatic art, the show is a beautiful spetacle which combines history, shadow play and music with a distinct Cumbrian flavour
Tickets £4-00 from the Theatre
