At Bromfield aged 84 the Rev John (sic) Martin, Rector of Moorby, Lincs, and for more than forty years Curate of Bromfield. He was presented to Moorby in 1798 by the present Archbishop of York, then Bishop of Carlisle, the rectory being in the gift of that see.
