(VR suggests this informatrion given to provide reason for child's surname being Quill with no father around!) (2) Birth cert of Hurdman Charles records father as Hurdman Charles C age 26 and mother is Minnie Maxwell age 22, born Kerry, Ireland - also records married 1 March 1859 in Melbourne and one child already deceased by 1861
